Giving Tuesday
Giving Tuesday is a global movement meant to promote generosity and inspire people to give. It was founded in 2012 as a response to the commercialization and consumerism around Black Friday and Cyber Monday. We instead want to be thankful. We instead want to do good and give back. We want to help His kingdom grow.
Ways to Give
Give Your Money
Today, we’re offering a special way to give financially to our Kingdom Fund. The purpose of this fund is to grow God’s kingdom here, there, and everywhere. Part of what you give will go to support international workers spreading the Gospel to people overseas. Part will go to planting new churches in areas of need. Part of what you give will go to people in our community who are in need of support.
Give Your Voice
Between friends, family, and the community, you have the power to use your voice and encourage others to give to what they are passionate about. Call a family member. Text a friend. Tell a co-worker. Share it online. The more people willing to make change and the more God can stir in their hearts, the larger the change we can make.
Give Kindness
This could be any other way you choose to give in your community. Donate goods to your local food pantry. Give time at your church or community center. Everything we have been given comes graciously from the Lord. So any way that you wish to bless others with the blessings you’ve been given will be pleasing to Him.
Give Prayer
Simply pray for someone else. Pray for the people you know. Pray for your community. Pray for those in need. Pray for His kingdom to grow and thrive. God can do miraculous things and there is great power in prayer. Pray for him to do just that.
